About the Holosun 507K X2

Holosun 507K X2 is a red dot sight from the Reflex series.

The letter 'K' indicates the red dot sight's unique, miniature shape which makes it ideal for pistol use. It has a modification of the Shield RMS footprint instead of the Trijicon RMR footprint found on 407C, 507C, and 508T.

There are two large buttons for illumination control on the side of the Holosun moa red dot.

The 507K reflex red dot features the Holosun ShakeAwake function. When left powered on, the device will go from 'active mode' to 'sleep mode' after a while to prevent unnecessary battery drain. Once moved, it will power back on immediately.

Holosun 507K X2 red dot is the second generation from the 507K series of red dot sights. Not many differences can be found between the first and second generations.

Holosun added the button models lock mode and made the illumination control buttons smaller. The buttons on the Holosun ‘X2’ reflex optical sight are also placed horizontally, whereas they were placed vertically on the first dot sight model.

About the Holosun Reflex series

Reflex is one of the red dot sight series made by Holosun. These compact sights are not closed on both sides like the Holosun Tube, Holosun Infiniti and Holosun Paralow series, which is why they are very compact and lightweight (there are some exceptions to this in the Holosun Reflex series – 512T is closed from both sides and thus bigger while 510C is a reflex-type red dot sight of a bigger design).

Holosun 407K dot sight and Holosun 507K dot sight are designed specifically for pistol use – these red dot sights are even more compact than Holosun 407C, Holosun 507C, and Holosun 508T models. Holosun 407K red dot sight and Holosun 507K red dot sight are the first Holosun red dot sights that are equipped with a central dot size of 6 MOA.

The illumination is powered by a CR1632 battery. The click value for the elevation and windage adjustments is 0.5 MOA. These durable red dot sights feature a single-piece housing made out of 7075-T aluminum. Altogether, there are 12 illumination intensity levels to choose from, 2 of which are NVD compatible. The battery life is 50.000 hours.

About the Holosun "507K" family

Holosun 507k dot sight is one of the model families in the Reflex series. The first number '5' in its name means that the user can switch between a 2 MOA dot; a 2 MOA dot surrounded by a 32 MOA circle or a 32 MOA ring only.

My HE507k x2 won't go to sleep. I set it to 10 minutes and it won't trun off. I left it on a table without moving it and nothing happens. The Holosun 507K X2 features a modification of the Shield mounting standard.

If your pistol is optic ready for Leupold DeltaPoint Pro which uses the Shield mounting standard then it is possible to modify the adapter plate to fit on the pistol. The rear lugs have to be removed and the front ones have to be shortened in height - this is best done by a gunsmith.

Namely, the two rear indexing lugs on the pistol have to be removed and the two front indexing lugs shortened in height. Hellcat and Walther PPS are examples of such pistols (some pistols, such as Sig Sauer P365XL, do not have to be modified).

Vidio sam video na TFB TV-u s Jamesom Reeveom kako intervjuira Luisa iz HOLOSUN-a govoreći o cijeloj liniji HOLOSUN Red Dots. Razgovarali su o novom refleksnom nišanu HS507K x2 i činilo mi se da su zaključili da će raditi na AR 9 mm pištolju. Kupio sam jedan za CMMG Banshee, ali čini mi se da nisam pronašao visoko podignuti picatinny nosač i ne mogu ga pronaći na HOLOSUN web stranici. Postoje li kakvi visoki picatinny nosači ili MOS ploče koje se mogu koristiti? Zaista bih cijenio pomoć i savjet.

I had seen a video on TFB TV with James Reeve interviewing Luis of HOLOSUN talking about the full line of HOLOSUN Red Dots. They talked about the new HS507K x2 reflex sight and it seemed to me they inferred it would work on a AR 9mm pistol. I’ve purchased one for a CMMG Banshee but seem to not find a high rise picatinny mount and don’t find one on the HOLOSUN web site. Are there any high rise picatinny mounts that or MOS plates that can be used? I really would appreciate some help & advice.

The 507K X2 model is not as straightforward as with the majority of Holosun red dots. 507K has a modification of the Shield Sights footprint, which is why it is going to be extremely difficult to procure a riser for it. We actually do have a mount that works as a riser, however, it requires some modifications.

This mount is suitable for 507K red dot sight, however since Holosun uses a modification of the Shield Standard as we described previously, you will need to remove the two rear indexing lugs on the mount and shorten the two front indexing lugs in height.

Sve savršeno, ali vijci... All Perfect, but the screws...

Divna mala stvar koja je precizna poput svog starijeg brata ( HS 507 C ), ali manja!
Postavljen na moj Glock 35 MOS Gen4, savršeno obavlja svoj posao...

Samo jedan (veliki) problem: ja koristio je Blue Loctite, ali je Holosun torx alat žvakao priložene vijke. Nemojte ga zaključati i nemojte previše odvrnuti torx ili ćete morati upotrijebiti Dremel bušilicu, kao što sam ja učinio, da biste vratili svoju Red Dot !!!

Jedna pogreška iz trgovine optičarima recenzija:

NE MORATE modificirati svoju Glock MOS montažnu ploču ako koristite SHIELD Low-Profile za Glock MOS: savršeno pristaje...

Wonderful little thing as accurate as its big brother ( HS 507 C ) but tinyer !
Mounted on my Glock 35 MOS Gen4, it makes its job perfectly...

Just one (big) problem: i used Blue Loctite but the Holosun torx tool chewed the
provided screws. Don't lock it and don't overscrew the torx or you will have
to use a Dremel driller, like i did, to get your Red Dot back !!!

One mistake from optics-trade review:

You DON'T have to modify your Glock MOS mounting plate if you use a SHIELD Low-Profile for Glock MOS: it fits perfectly...

No modification at all

Knowing all this, will buy it again from optics-trade.eu for the ultra-fast shipping to France and the very low price.

Apsolutno vrhunska kvaliteta, funkcija i usluga Absolutely Superb Quality, Function and Sevice

Kupio sam ovaj Holoson HS 507K za moj Sig 365 XL i to je brak napravljen u raju. Jednostavan za instalaciju i bočni pristup bateriji je pametan. Postavke osvjetljenja i viziranja su jasne i čiste. Snimanje slike je glatko i brzo. Volim, volim, volim ovu nadogradnju već nevjerojatnog pištolja. Optics-trade je pružio brzu i korektnu uslugu. Iznimno su reagirali na moju komunikaciju i uvijek su bili spremni pomoći mi. Definitivno ću ih ponovno kupiti.

Bought this Holoson HS 507K for my Sig 365 XL and it is a marraige made in Heaven. Simple to install and side access to the battery is smart. Illumination and sighting adjustments are clear and clean. Picking up the sight picture is smooth and quick. Love, love, love this upgrade to an already amazing gun. Optics-trade provided fast and coirteous service. They were exceptionally responsive to my communications and always leaning forward to be most helpful. I will definately buy for them again.

Razumna cijena s obzirom na nedostatak ove optike. I otpremljen je relativno brzo. Međutim, jako sam razočaran što nije isporučen s baterijom.

Reasonably price considering the scarcity of this optic. And it shipped reasonably quickly. However I am very disappointed that it did not ship with a battery.
