Recknagel Rear Mounting Prism SWM, Swarovski SR

• Swarovski SR interface: Built specifically for Swarovski riflescopes with the SR rail, this rear mounting prism provides a direct, secure fit without relying on conventional scope rings.
• 30° prism design: The dovetail-style interface supports a precise mechanical connection, helping the mount seat consistently and maintain dependable alignment on the rifle.
• Steel construction: A steel body gives the part the rigidity and wear resistance needed for repeated use in hunting and sporting setups where mounting stability matters.
• Compact 4.0 mm build height: The low-profile design helps keep the optic close to the bore, which supports a tidy rifle setup and a natural sight picture.
• Modular mounting component: As a dedicated rear mounting element, it suits custom or replacement mounting work where the correct rail-specific interface is essential.

About the Series Series

Recknagel mounting components are built for shooters and hunters who need a mounting system matched closely to both the rifle and the optic. Within the company’s broader mounting range, these parts serve the practical role of creating a precise interface between scope and firearm, whether the setup uses rings, rails, prisms or manufacturer-specific scope rails. The emphasis is on mechanical fit, repeatable positioning and durable materials that stand up to regular installation and field use.

In this product family, Recknagel offers solutions for traditional hunting rifles, modern sporting rifles and specialist mounting conversions. A key characteristic of the series is its modular design approach: instead of forcing one universal solution, individual components are tailored to specific rail standards and mounting geometries. That matters in practice because a correctly matched mounting part reduces fitting compromises and supports a cleaner, more secure installation. For users working with premium European optics, rail-specific parts such as those for the Swarovski SR system are especially relevant, as they preserve the advantages of the original scope rail while integrating into a robust steel mounting arrangement.

About the Recknagel Rear Mounting Prism SWM, Swarovski SR

The Recknagel Rear Mounting Prism SWM, Swarovski SR is a dedicated rear mounting element for riflescopes equipped with the Swarovski SR rail. Instead of adapting a rail-mounted optic to a generic ring solution, this component is made for the geometry of the SR interface, which helps create a cleaner and more mechanically consistent connection. For hunting rifles and other precision-oriented setups, that direct fit is important because it supports stable optic positioning and avoids unnecessary complexity in the mounting arrangement.

The part uses a 30° prism layout and is made from steel, giving it the strength and surface durability expected from a structural mounting component. In practical use, that translates into a solid rear support point that is well suited to repeated handling and long-term service. Its 4.0 mm build height keeps the assembly compact, which helps maintain a low optic position over the bore and contributes to balanced rifle handling.

Because this is a rear mounting prism rather than a complete one-piece mount, its value lies in compatibility and precision within a modular system. It is particularly useful where a rifle is being assembled with dedicated Recknagel mounting hardware or where an existing setup needs the correct rear interface for a Swarovski SR-equipped scope. The result is a purpose-built mounting accessory that prioritises correct fit, structural stability and a tidy overall installation.

About Recknagel

Adolf Recknagel began manufacturing firearm sights in 1867 in Albrechts, near Suhl, Thuringia, establishing the long tradition behind the brand. Recknagel is a German manufacturer focused on firearm and riflescope mounting systems, sights and hunting accessories, with a product range that also includes Picatinny rails, triggers, safeties and hunting silencers. This background is especially relevant in the optics field, where precise mechanical interfaces are as important as the scope itself.

The company broadened its modern tactical offering when it launched the ERATAC line in 2010, and it later expanded further by adding lightweight hunting silencers in 2016. Today, Recknagel remains closely associated with robust, carefully engineered mounting solutions for hunting and sporting firearms, combining long manufacturing experience with a specialised focus on the parts that determine how securely an optic performs on the rifle.
