Founded by Carl Gottlieb Haenel in 1840 in Suhl, Germany, Haenel initially produced weapons and bicycles. The Jaeger 10 (Up from series-Nr. JX-000921) rifle is a modern bolt-action model featuring a six-locking-lug bolt and a sixty-degree opening angle, which aids in quick operation. It also includes a detachable magazine with a capacity of 3+1 cartridges for most calibers. The two-position safety switch, which locks the trigger, is conveniently located right at the bolt handle. This rifle comes with Haenel’s detachable iSight system, and its muzzle is threaded for M15x1 with a muzzle cap included. The overall length of the rifle ranges from 1100 mm to 1150 mm, while the barrel length varies from 565 mm to 615 mm, depending on the caliber. The Haenel Jaeger 10 receiver comes with five holes for mounting purposes, two on the front and three on the rear mounting surface.

Mounting Instructions

Clean the rifle's receiver thoroughly with a cleaning fluid, such as acetone, to remove all stains, grease, and oil. Once the surface is clean and dry, verify that the screws fit both the rail and the receiver holes. Before mounting the rail, apply a minimal amount of thread-locking fluid (278 or 648) to the screws, avoiding any contact with the mounting holes. Carefully clean any excess fluid around the rail using the cleaning fluid. Using a torque driver, tighten the screws to the appropriate torque (up to 3 Nm/26.5 in-lbs).
