The Hawke Airmax 30 SF Compact series is Hawke's shorter-format dedicated airgun scope range, built on a 30mm wide-angle chassis with side focus parallax and the proprietary AMX reticle calibrated for airgun pellet trajectories. Compared to the full-size Airmax 30 WA SF models, the Compact series offers a more compact and lightweight package with a shorter eye relief of 76mm and a 3" sidewheel, while retaining the same 16-layer fully multi-coated lenses, SFP AMX IR reticle, 1/10 MRAD capped target turrets, and red-only illumination.

The Airmax 30 SF Compact series currently comprises three configurations spanning a range of airgun applications: the 3-12x40 (art. no. 13200) for maximum compactness and the widest field of view, the 4-16x44 (art. no. 13210) as the mid-range configuration, and the 6-24x50 (art. no. 13220) for shooters who require the highest magnification in the Compact format.

The 4–16× magnification range provides a field of view of 10.9 metres at 100 metres at minimum power — broad enough for target identification and stage scanning at HFT and field target distances — and a 16× upper end for precise aim point placement at competition distances. At 296 mm and 621 g, it is a practical size for a wide range of air rifle platforms.

The 44mm objective lens, combined with the wide-angle 30mm chassis and 16-layer fully multi-coated lenses, delivers high light transmission across the magnification range. An exit pupil of 11 mm at 4× supports adequate image brightness at minimum power in typical outdoor shooting light. The 76mm of eye relief is consistent across the Compact series and should be factored into mounting height selection for the specific air rifle.

The SFP AMX IR reticle provides airgun-calibrated holdover marks with a consistent size at all magnification settings, illuminated in red with 6 brightness levels and off positions between each step.
