Bresser Condor 8x42 Binoculars

• 8x42 all-round format: Povećanje od 8x održava sliku stabilnom i lako pratljivom, dok objektivi od 42 mm prikupljaju dovoljno svjetla za šetnje šumom, promatranje ptica i opću vanjsku upotrebu pri promjenjivom svjetlu.
• Roof prism design with Schmidt/Pechan system: Ovaj raspored održava dalekozore tankima i jednostavnima za nošenje, što ih čini praktičnima za planinarenje, putovanja i duže sesije promatranja gdje je važna kompaktnost.
• Fully multi-coated optics with UR coating: Premazi pomažu poboljšati prijenos svjetla i kontrast, što pridonosi svjetlijem i jasnijem prikazu u zoru, sumrak i pod krošnjama drveća.
• 17.29 mm eye relief and adjustable diopter: Duga udaljenost oka čini promatranje ugodnijim za mnoge korisnike naočala, dok podešavanje dioptrije na desnom okućniku pomaže fino prilagoditi fokus korisnikovom vidu.
• Waterproof, nitrogen-filled construction: Zabrtvljeno kućište odolijeva kiši i vlažnim uvjetima, a punjenje dušikom pomaže spriječiti unutarnje zamagljivanje kada se temperature na otvorenom brzo mijenjaju.

About the Bresser Condor Series

The Bresser Condor series was introduced in 2016 as a versatile roof-prism binocular family for demanding users who want one instrument to cover a wide range of outdoor activities. In the BRESSER lineup, Condor models sit as practical all-round binoculars for nature observation, hiking, hunting, travel and sports, combining compact handling with field-ready durability. The series uses roof-prism construction and rubber-armoured bodies to keep the binoculars streamlined and secure in the hand, which is especially useful when carrying them for long periods.

Across the range, the design focuses on everyday usability. Central-wheel focusing, adjustable eyecups and diopter correction make the binoculars easy to adapt to different users and viewing situations. Condor models are also built for outdoor conditions, with waterproof construction and, on several current models, nitrogen filling to reduce internal fogging. The series includes compact travel-friendly versions as well as larger 42 mm, 50 mm and 56 mm models for users who need more light-gathering ability. With BaK-4 prisms and fully multi-coated lenses, the Condor line is designed to balance portability, brightness and practical field performance rather than focusing on one narrow application.

About the Bresser Condor 8x42 Binoculars

The Bresser Condor 8x42 Binoculars are built as a true general-purpose outdoor optic. The 8x magnification offers enough reach for bird watching, wildlife observation and scanning open ground, while remaining easier to hold steadily than higher-power binoculars. Paired with a 42 mm objective lens, this configuration gives a useful balance between brightness, manageable size and carrying comfort, which is why 8x42 binoculars remain a common choice for hunting optics, hiking binoculars and everyday field use.

The optical system uses roof prisms in a Schmidt/Pechan design, keeping the body slim and easy to pack. Fully multi-coated lenses are combined with UR coating to improve light transmission, helping the binoculars deliver a brighter image in shaded woodland and during the first and last light of the day. A field of view of 118.00 m/1000m gives a broad enough image for locating moving subjects without making the binoculars feel overly specialized for close or distant work.

Comfort and handling are equally important here. The 17.29 mm eye relief helps maintain a usable full image for many eyeglass wearers, while the central focusing system allows quick adjustment as viewing distances change. Diopter correction on the right eyepiece helps sharpen the image to the observer's eyesight. The metal-bodied construction, waterproof housing and nitrogen filling make the binoculars suitable for wet weather and changing temperatures, and the tripod-adaptable design adds stability for longer stationary observation sessions.

About Bresser

BRESSER was founded in 1957 by Josef Bresser in Germany and developed into a broad optics brand with strong roots in consumer observation equipment. The company is now headquartered in Rhede, Germany, and its product range covers telescopes, binoculars, microscopes and outdoor optics. This broad focus helps explain why BRESSER binoculars are typically designed around practical field use and accessible optical performance rather than niche specialization alone.

In its later history, the company changed ownership in 1999 when Rolf Bresser sold it to Meade Instruments Corp., and in 2009 Rolf Bresser, Jinghua Precision Optics and managing director Helmut Ebbert acquired all shares of Bresser GmbH. BRESSER has continued to expand its optics portfolio, adding products such as rangefinders and trail cameras and maintaining a strong presence in both astronomy and outdoor observation. For binoculars, that background translates into a product approach centered on dependable mechanics, practical features and broad usability across different outdoor activities.
